Time

Tade is the first son in the family of Uzos. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Uzo. His dad's full name is Usman Uzo while his mother bears Tobi Uzo in full. Tade is a lazy boy, he plays away with his time. He never does the right thing at the right time. He plays too much and eats too much. He also sleep too much. He isn't upright with his studies.

He always wakes up lately; he goes to school late and so fond of all forms of laxity. His daddy was not happy with the conduct of his, whenever his mum gave him any house hold chore to do, he messes up with it, and at school he is incorrigible, he comprehends and rights slowly.

One day, his teacher proposed he should teach him about clock. Then the teacher recites a poem on time.

“TICK” says the clock

“TICK, TICK”, what you have to do quickly

Now I want one of you to tell me the meaning of this poem says the teacher.

But none of them knew the meaning of the poem.

The teacher then says “do you know that your life is a similitude of a clock that ticks every time?

The clock never rest but keeps on working. Whatever you want to, you must do it in time before it gets late because an opportunity lost can hardly be regained.

The following day, Tade's teacher continues the lesson on time, the say;

A Tick of a clock makes seconds,

Sixty seconds make a minute

Sixty minutes make an hour

Twenty four hour make one day

Thirty days make one month

Behold! 365 days make a year 42 weeks

Arise to your challenges and shine

Never make any seconds go without reckoning an achievement

Time is precious

Time is a PEARL

Use it judiciously.

When Tade heard that, he changed his way from that day he never wastes his time again.
